1) Management of Prinzmetal's or variant angina or unstable or chronic, stable angina pectoris; 2) Supraventricular tachyarrhythmias; 3) Prevention of recurrent paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia; 4) Hypertension.


Individualize. Max 480mg/day. Angina: 80 to 120mg 3 times daily before or after meal.

Constipation, dizziness, nausea, Low Blood Pressure, slow heart beats, headache, fatigue, peripheral edema, transient hypotension.



Pregnancy Risk Categories defined:

A: Studies in pregnant women failed to show a risk to the fetus in the first trimester - with no evidence of risk in the later trimesters.

X: Studies in animals or humans show fetal abnormalities, or adverse reaction reports indicate evidence of fetal risk. Warning: the risks involved clearly outweigh any potential benefit from using the drug in pregnant women, regardless of trimester.
