  • No anatomic or functional abnormalities
  • The organs are normal in size, shape, contour, and position.
  • The internal structures of the organs and tissues are within normal limits.

  • High-frequency sounds are directed into an area of the body in a specific pattern.  The echoes of the ultrasound are converted to visual images, linear tracings, or audible sounds.
