Anti-adrenergics/Sympatholytic


High Blood Pressure, chest pain, Migraine Headache, irregular heart beats, tremor, varices in the esophagus due to liver cirrhosis.


40-320 mg/day in 2-3 divided dosages, may be taken with meal.


Category C


Low heart beats, Depression, dizziness, Insomnia, upset stomach, weakness, shortness of breath.
  • Warning: angina pectoris may result from abrupt termination of this medication.
